Description: The Omani Association for Human Rights, the Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights (GCENR) and the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) made this joint submission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), on the right to a nationality and human rights challenges pertaining to statelessness in Oman.

This submission focuses on: I. Gender-based discrimination regarding the transmission of nationality; II. Children’s right to a nationality; and III. Deprivation of nationality resulting in statelessness.
