Description: The Anti-Discrimination Centre (ADC) Memorial,The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) and The Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) made this joint sub-mission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), on the right to a nationality and human rights challenges pertaining to statelessness in Russia.

This submission focuses: I. The lack of an effective regularisation procedure for stateless persons in Russia; II. Children born to stateless persons; III. The deprivation of nationality; IV. The expulsion and detention of stateless persons; V. Prisoners and released prisoners; VI. Inhuman conditions in CTDFNs and lack of oversight; VII. Stateless children in special institutions; and VIII. Separation of children from their migrant parents during detention and expulsion.
