Each one of the 60 municipalities has at least one stateless person registered there.97 More than half of the 4,151 stateless persons live in the regions of the three largest Lithuanian cities (Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda). Approximately 43% of the target group lives in the city and region of Vilnius, while the border regions of Šalčininkai, Švenčionys and Visaginas host a further 11%.
