Description: Rights & Security International (RSI) and the Insti-tute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) made this joint sub-mission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), on the right to a nationality and human rights challenges pertaining to statelessness with a focus on nationality deprivation in the United Kingdom.

This submission focuses on: I. Arbitrary deprivation of nationality; II. Lack of adequate procedural safeguards and violations of the right to fair proceedings; III. Lack of adequate safeguards against statelessness and IV. Discriminatory nature and impact.
