'When people hear that I speak Nuer, they rush here and ask for help. I cannot turn them back,' she says. Adhieu, who is of Nuer ethnicity, moved to Rumbek, Lakes State, to marry a Dinka man. Adhieu shares what food she has with the newcomers and appeals to the host community to support them. The conflict in South Sudan has forced more than 1.8 million people to flee their homes and seek refuge within the country.
