Description: SALAM for Democracy and Human Rights (SALAM DHR), the Rights Realization Centre (RRC), the MENA Statelessness Network (Hawiati), the Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights (GCENR) and the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) made this joint submission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), on the right to a nationality and human rights challenges pertaining to statelessness in Bahrain.

This submission focuses on: I. Gender discrimination in Bahrain's nationality law; II. Arbitrary deprivation of nationality and statelessness; and III. Human rights violations faced by stateless people.
