Background to the High-Level Segment on Statelessness This publication contains a full compendium of the pledges made during the HLS and as such serves as a record that will be helpful in tracking their implementation. In addition, an exhibition featuring portraits of individual stateless persons and highlighting aspects of their personal stories was displayed for the duration of the HLS and throughout the week-long Executive Committee meeting. A number of those photographs are reproduced throughout this publication.
