The lower numbers of registered stateless persons in comparison to the MoI statistics can be a result of a slightly
different methodology and categorisation of statistically recorded data within the CSO.90 The figures concerning
stateless refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection correspond to the publicly available MoI data.
Figure 8 provides information on the acquisition of Czech nationality by stateless persons between 2001 and 2016.
