Description: This field report offers an overview of the humanitarian and support situation for more than 74,000 Rohingya refugees who fled to Bangladesh over the course of a military crackdown. Additionally, the author of this report discusses the 33,000 Rohingya in Bangladesh that are officially recognized as refugees, and as many as 500,000 undocumented Rohingya already living in the country. The findings are based on the author's travels to Bangladesh in May 2017, during which he visited makeshift camps housing Rohingya after they had fled abuses and oppression in Myanmar.
