The Fellowship provided me with a life changing experience through which I have gained invaluable learnings, inspiration and networks that will foster positive change in Australia. I intend to use the innovative ideas gained on my Fellowship to grow the Stateless Legal Clinic’s capacity to assist more children nationally. I further intend to use my learnings to improve understandings of this critical human rights issue within the Australian legal profession, as well engage in a renewed push for strategic law reform on statelessness through targeted engagement with the Australian government. Underlying these aims is a fundamental commitment to working to support and centre the voice of stateless people in advocacy on this issue, as well as continuing to raise awareness about statelessness amongst the broader Australian public. 10
