STOP 2: LONDON, ENGLAND Organisations and Individuals I Met With / Activities Engaged In: (a) Meeting: European Network on Statelessness Chris Nash, Director Patricia Cabral, Legal Policy Coordinator Alexia Tizzano, Legal Officer The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is a leading civil society alliance of organisations and individuals working to promote the right to nationality in Europe. ENS was established in 2012 and brings together over 180 members in more than 40 countries and includes grassroots community organisations, national and international NGOs, legal advice agencies, think tanks, individuals with lived experience of statelessness, and other experts. The work of ENS is implemented across four core themes, including children’s rights. Almost 40 of ENS’s members work directly on children’s nationality rights and ENS has led a number of key projects addressing childhood statelessness.
