The remaining population in refugee camps in Lebanon are from other nationalities; mainly Syrian refugees (23.1 percent) and Lebanese nationals (3.6 percent).235 Lebanon and Jordan, as two main host countries, have also faced many changes in the distribution of Palestinian refugees within their borders on account of the arrival of thousands of Palestinians refugees fleeing Syria. Large refugee camps were targeted in particular. Refugees were forcibly resettled in other areas of the occupied Gaza Strip, with a smaller number transferred to the occupied West Bank. In the occupied Gaza Strip, several housing projects were established for these refugees. Some of these projects today are referred to as camps.
