Description: This report presents findings from UNHCR Ukraine’s 2019 Participatory Assessment, conducted with refugees, asylum-seekers, stateless persons, those at risk of statelessness, and internally displaced or conflict-affected individuals. Held between February and March 2019, the assessment involved 91 focus group discussions and 22 interviews across diverse communities, including Roma and Crimean Tatars. Guided by a rights-based, community-driven approach, it identified key protection concerns such as bureaucratic barriers, limited access to housing, employment, and documentation.
