This blog reflects on the Statelessness & Innovation conference co-organised by ENS and Statefree in Berlin, describing it as a step change in centring lived experience and shifting power. Born from solidarity after sudden US funding cuts, the event brought together over 100 participants to advance community leadership, innovation, and collaboration. Through keynotes, panels, and innovation labs, participants explored protection pathways, legal reform, technology, and intersectional justice, forging new alliances and a shared, energised vision for ending statelessness in Europe.
