a. The Omani Association For Human Rights is a non-profit Organisation. The consolidation of freedom of the press and that of expression, the promotion of women’s rights and exposing society to the issue of gender equality are the basic principles of this organisation. The main objective is to view human rights from different perspectives through the strengthening of intercultural solidarity and therefore to promote their establishment in society. b. The Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) is the first and only human rights NGO dedicated to working on statelessness at the global level. ISI’s mission is to promote inclusive societies by realising and protecting everyone’s right to a nationality. Addressing childhood statelessness is one of the core thematic priorities of the Institute. As part of this work, ISI has made over fifteen country submissions to the Committee,49 developed a range of resources on the child’s right to a nationality and childhood statelessness, including a Toolkit on Addressing the Right to a Nationality through the Convention on the Rights of the Child50, Statelessness Essentials Booklets on Childhood Statelessness,51 the Convention on the Rights of the Child52 and other related issues,53 The 2017 World’s Stateless Report: Children;54 and a range of resources for children, which can be found online.55 ISI has also contributed its expertise and information towards General Recommendations of the Committee as well as Joint General Recommendations by the Committee and the CMW. c.
