Legal briefing: Statelessness and the right to respect for private and family life October 2024 This briefing is published and authored by the European Network on Statelessness (ENS) and The AIRE Centre. ENS is a civil society alliance of over 180 organisations and individual experts in 41 countries committed to addressing statelessness in Europe. Everyone has the right to a nationality. ENS believes this must be respected and that the human rights of people who lack a nationality – stateless people – must be protected. ENS is dedicated to working with stateless people in Europe to advocate for their rights and aims to reach its goals through law and policy development, awareness-raising, and capacity-building.
