Description: This report proposes an official and grassroots strategy to counter political attacks undermining the rights of Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). It outlines key parameters and principles for a national and international response focused on protecting refugee rights and UNRWA’s mandate. The paper urges the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) to shift from reactive appeals to proactive, coordinated political and diplomatic efforts paired with grassroots activism, emphasising the need for a sustained, strategic campaign to safeguard Palestinian refugee rights and ensure the continuity of UNRWA’s services and protections.
