persons to be repatriated to their homes, lands and properties, and compensated for losses and damages suffered; To the Member States of the United Nations: • Challenge the Israeli permit regime by rejecting all Israeli arrangements which fall under the permit regime, in particular when designing and implementing projects in the oPt; • Freeze the assets of all persons and legal entities responsible for grievous violations of international law, particularly those directly complicit in forced population transfer; • Ensure that state policies and institutions do not support or recognize Israeli practices that violate international humanitarian and human rights law; • Downgrade diplomatic relations with states committing and abetting these offenses; • Ensure that private corporations under their jurisdiction do not involve in or are complicit with Israeli practices violating international humanitarian law and human rights law; • Ensure that United Nations organizations and programs conform to the above remedial measures. To the International and National Civil Society: 86 • Develop and expand campaigns and research relating to the abolition of Israel’s discriminatory permit policies; • Lobby governments to cease diplomatic, military and economic support of and cooperation with the State of Israel until it adheres to international law; • Study and address the root causes of the ongoing forcible displacement of Palestinians by Israel; • Develop mechanisms and take effective measures to bring Israel into compliance with international law.
