Highlights • The United States granted humanitarian parole to a group of 222 exiled political prisoners form Nicaragua who had been stripped of their citizenship. • The Kyrgyz Republic introduced a safeguard in its nationality law to ensure that children born in the country are granted Kyrgyz citizenship if they would otherwise be stateless. • UNHCR and partners continue to address statelessness in Ukraine, despite the ongoing war.
