GLOBAL APPEAL 2025 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY I FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS UNHCR’s budget and the Sustainable Development Goals UNHCR’s budget closely aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals. Similar to previous years, 75% of the budget will contribute to 10 of the Goals. Results mapped to sustainable development goals have decreased by 6%, reflecting the variances in the UNHCR budget by Outcome and Enabling Areas. UNHCR is working with a broad range of partners, including development actors, in line with the “whole-of-society” approach of the Global Compact on Refugees, promoting humanitarian-development cooperation and pledge matching to aid refugees and host communities in reaching the SDGs.
