EX.CL/Dec.1041(XXXIV) Page 1 DECISION ON THE REPORT OF THE COMMISSION ON RE-ESTABLISHING THE DRAFTING COMMITTEE Doc. EX.CL/1123(XXXIV) The Executive Council, 1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of the Commission on re-establishing the Drafting Committee; 2. RECOMMENDS to the Assembly to re-establish the Drafting Committee, this time at Ambassadorial level, and FURTHER RECOMMENDS that: i) the Drafting Committee shall be composed of fifteen (15) members: a) b) the five (5) members of the Bureau of the Union, and two (2) Member States per region. ii) the tenure of the Drafting Committee shall be one (1) year; iii) the Drafting Committee assisted by the Commission should elaborate its draft Rules of Procedure for consideration and adoption by the 35th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council to be held in Niamey, Niger, in July 2019. 34th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council, 7- 8 February 2019, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
