Description: Equality Now, Baghdad Women Association (BWA), the Iraqi Women League, the Coalition of Women MPs from Arab Countries to Combat Violence against Women, the Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights (GCENR) and the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI) made this joint submission to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), on the right to a nationality and human rights challenges pertaining to statelessness in Iraq.

This submission focuses on: I. Child marriage and polygamy - Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959; and II. Discrimination in Nationality Law No. 26/2006.
