AHMR African Human Mobilty Review - Volume 6 No 2, MAY-AUG 2020 As social workers expand their services to include stateless children and children at risk of statelessness, and conduct research on this challenge, the profession will be better positioned to be champions of human rights, enhancing the voices of the silenced, and building a foundation of empowerment. It is not an easy road that lies ahead. There are numerous questions, concerns and debates that will arise, but social workers should rise to the occasion and not feel daunted by these challenges.
