Description: This report places internal displacement on the spotlight, presenting figures and patterns for conflict and internal displacement, with certain instances of the report of interest for those working on statelessness. Specifically it is pointed out that despite the importance of ensuring that refugee issues are visible and that the international community takes responsibility for the ongoing refugee crisis and ensuring that individuals affected by displacement are protected —there is a real risk that too much focus is placed on international borders and too little at what happens within borders.
