CONVERGING FOR CHANGE: A GLIMPSE INTO THE
2024 WORLD CONFERENCE ON STATELESSNESS
The World Conference on Statelessness (WCS) was convened at Taylor’s University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 26 to 29
February 2024. It was organised by the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (global), Nationality for All (Asia-Pacific),
Development of Human Resources for Rural Areas (Malaysia) and Family Frontiers (Malaysia), and supported by the Human
Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM). The Conference ran over three and a half days. The programme focused on the
three themes of SOLIDARITY, KNOWLEDGE and CHANGE, and was consultatively developed to respond to the interests and
needs of the field.
