Description: This report examines how the Government of Myanmar has employed discriminatory administrative practices to deny Rohingya their right to nationality. Central to this is the forced and coercive imposition of National Verification Cards (NVCs), which classify Rohingya as "foreigners" and further entrench their exclusion. In the course of implementing the NVC process, authorities have subjected Rohingya to torture and severe restrictions on their freedom of movement. The report is accompanied by powerful photographs by acclaimed photographer Saiful Huq Omi.
