ACQUISITION OF CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE IN NEPAL ESTIMATION AND PROJECTION The number of individuals who lack citizenship certificate has been estimated using the population growth rate determined by the census of 2011 and the total number of citizenship certificate distributed in each year. Firstly, the annual gap in the distribution of citizenship certificate (N) was calculated by deducting the number of citizenship certificates distributed in that year (M) from the number of people who became eligible to acquire citizenship certificate (L) (calculated on the basis of the 2011 Census).
