An Open Access Journal from The Law Brigade (Publishing) Group 276 CONCLUSION Due the pandemic are we awaiting a struggle that will target marginalized sections of society? The NRC process has only shown that persons belonging to the Muslim community, Women and the poor will be the parties are the most affected and least heard. In struggle to belong parties should never be disadvantaged, however keeping in mind the Indian polity and the States determination to carry out such exercises, one can only fear the fragmentation of society. The only question left to be answered is, will the people and institutions like the Supreme Court continue to rally behind such an exercise?
