BANGLADESH. Rohingya children participate
in learning activities in a child-friendly space
in Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh.
In these safe spaces, children can express
themselves and access the support they need
to continue their emotional and cognitive
development. Bangladesh is host to just
under one million stateless Rohingya
refugees who have fled violence and
persecution in neighbouring Myanmar;
56 per cent of that number are children.
